Obama – Libya: ‘the war will only last a few days’

When the United States intervened in Libya, Obama told the American people that ‘the war would only last a few days’. A few months later, Obama said that it was ‘not a war but a mission’ (and the U.S. senators accepted that).

    NATO pressure…
NATO pressured compliant Canada to stay Involved In the Libyan War. Almost no options have been ruled out for extended Canadian involvement in the North African country. Parliament has supported Canadian military action there until Sept. 27. Other than rejecting the idea of sending ground forces to Libya, Prime Minister Stephen Harper has not specified what he’d like to see after that date.
